Halocent Named a Technical Support Unit of China's CNVD

Halocent Electronic Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (brand: Halocent) has passed the review of the China National Vulnerability Database (CNVD) and been designated as a Technical Support Unit. This is a meaningful step for Halocent in deepening its vulnerability-response capability and contributing to the national cybersecurity ecosystem.

1. About CNVD

The China National Vulnerability Database (CNVD) is jointly operated by the National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team / Coordination Center of China (CNCERT/CC) and partner institutions. It is one of the country's authoritative platforms for vulnerability information sharing and coordinated response. Technical Support Units are entrusted to assist CNVD with vulnerability validation, remediation guidance, and emergency response.

2. What this means for our customers

  • Faster access to authoritative vulnerability intelligence — the "disclosure-to-remediation" window shrinks for all Halocent customers.
  • Stronger validation & remediation — real-world samples provided by CNVD will keep training our internal vulnerability tooling and expert team.
  • Direct line into national coordination — for major incidents affecting critical infrastructure, Halocent can plug into the national coordination chain, buying customers precious golden-hour time.

3. Three commitments

  1. Establish a "customer → Halocent → CNVD" direct intelligence line: major vulnerabilities reach customers within 4 hours.
  2. Include remediation guidance for CNVD-listed vulnerabilities in every monthly-subscription client's inspection report.
  3. Deliver two free deep-dive vulnerability-intelligence briefings per year, aligning Business and IT on risk perception.
Halocent's CSO: "Becoming a CNVD Technical Support Unit is not a finish line — it is a stricter self-standard. We want to translate the platform's high bar into concrete engineering actions our customers use every day."

4. What's next

Within 90 days of formal registration, Halocent will launch an internal vulnerability-intelligence aggregation platform that normalises CNVD, CVE, GitHub Advisory, and vendor advisories, and auto-matches to each customer's asset inventory. If you would like early access, please contact us.
